Ms. Carole Pelton is a thirty year resident of Pomona and has interest areas in cultural pride and academic success. She is an advocate for school districts to partner with local libraries in order to provide a strong after school program in both English and Spanish. Ms. Pelton’s role in PUPIL is to identify a Latino base of donors who are as passionate about education and partnerships as she is and to celebrate these donors throughout the community. Ms. Pelton is an alumni of Claremont Graduate School with her Master’s in Business Administration. She also served on several boards in additional to PUPIL around the community: House of Ruth, Domestic Violence Advocacy & Shelter; Claremont Museum of Art, Founding Member; Mt San Antonio Gardens, Retirement Community; Pomona Public Library, Trustee President; PAA, Promoting Academic Achievement, and Shoes That Fit.
