Erin Gratz has been a Pomona resident since 2008. She has been an academic librarian for more than 15 years; and earned her Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and a Masters degree in Social Sciences from the Universiteit van Amsterdam. She is currently an Associate Professor and Web and Instructional Technology Librarian at the University of La Verne. Erin has designed the library website many times over and is the lead for the library’s web presence. She is also the liaison to the social sciences departments and the online programs. Erin works closely with both students and faculty in their research, curating course materials, and in conversations about being scholars-teachers. She has a passion for solving teaching problems with technology and student learning outcomes. Besides serving on the PUPIL board, she serves on the On Earth Peace board of directors. In her spare time, Erin is an avid reader and knitter, loves spending time with her husband and dog, and is pursuing a doctorate in Organizational Leadership.
