Ms. Renée Graves, CPA, CGFM is a Partner of VLS. She has over twenty-six years of experience planning, directing and supervising audits of community college districts, foundations, auxiliary organizations, K-12 school districts, nonprofit organizations, retirement communities, and charter schools in Southern California. Ms. Graves currently serves on the California State Society of CPAs Accounting and Auditing Committee and is a former Director of the Cal Poly Accounting Alumni Association. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Graves is a Certified Government Financial Manager, and she serves on the State Government Accounting Committee. She leads an internal committee that researches auditing standards for the purpose of developing training for staff and clients on changing regulations. Renée has served as Client Service Partner on audits for Pasadena Area Community College District, Santa Monica Community College District, and the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools. Ms. Graves received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Cum Laude, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. In her personal time, Ms. Graves enjoys outdoor activities including boating and bike riding and is active with her daughters’ club basketball and volleyball leagues.
